District BRS party leaders protested against the illegal arrest of MLC Kavita in the Delhi liquor policy case. The protest was organized by Gadwal MLA Bandla Krisnamohan Reddy and other party leaders near the Old Bus Stand on Saturday afternoon.

The protest was initiated by BRS party town president Telugu Govindu, who criticized the BJP party and ED for the illegal arrest. He warned that if Kavita is not released, more protests and demonstrations on a large scale will follow. Govindu emphasized that it is unfair to put an illegal case on Kavita in a democracy, and they will do anything to support her.

Govindu also criticized Modi, accusing him of trying to loot Telangana by targeting Kavita. He questioned why no action was taken against Modi’s Gujarati friends who have allegedly robbed banks in the name of loans. He warned that if the opposition party is targeted, the people will respond with their votes.

Various party members, including Municipal Vice Chairman Babar, Municipal Councilors Nagireddy, Srinivas, Mhash, Krishna, Narahari Goud, Srinivaslu, Srimannarayana, and former Chairman of Jammulamma Temple Sathish, participated in the protest.
