Some BRS leaders and cadres recently complained to the party chief. Today, they went to Pragati Bhavan in large numbers to oppose the candidature of sitting Alampur MLA Dr VM Abraham.

CM KCR announced the party tickets for sitting MLAs in a routine manner. However, leaders who joined the BRS party from the Congress are opposing Abraham’s candidature.

On Thursday, MLC Challa Venktramireddy was appointed as the Election incharge of the Alampur Constituency. This paves the way for a new person to receive the party ticket instead of Abraham.

On Friday, many key leaders and activists from various villages and mandals of the constituency went to Pragati Bhavan and met KTR.

During this meeting, IT minister KTR assured them that he will bring the issue to the attention of party chief CM KCR. He also expressed his expectation that the BRS party will achieve a hattrick in the state assembly elections.
