BRS Party MLC Pochampally Srinivas Reddy has denied any involvement in the recent incident at Tholkatta, Moinabad mandal. Responding to police notices, he assured full cooperation with the investigation and stated that he had no connection to the events that took place.

Srinivas Reddy clarified that a piece of land purchased in 2018 was managed entirely by his nephew, Gyander Reddy. He explained that the property consists of a mango and coconut grove with two worker accommodations, not a farmhouse or guesthouse as some media reports suggested. According to him, Gyander Reddy leased the grove to Varra Ramesh Kumar Reddy without his knowledge, and later, Ramesh Kumar Reddy sub-leased it to M. Venkatapathi Raju. He claimed that he was unaware of these transactions until the incident came to light and has since filed a police complaint requesting action against those involved.

Regarding allegations of illegal activities on the property, Srinivas Reddy firmly denied any role in them. He stated that he was in Warangal attending the Yellamma festival at the time of the incident and was not in Hyderabad. He also alleged that false information was being spread to damage his political reputation. With over 20 years in politics and no prior legal cases, he emphasized his commitment to following the law. He further announced plans to take legal action against those spreading false claims about him on social media.
