MLC K Kavitha, who is being investigated by the Enforcement Directorate for the Delhi Liquor scam, denied any knowledge of Sukesh Chandrashekhar’s alleged WhatsApp chat. The chat suggested a connection between BRS and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of AAP. On Wednesday, Sukesh released the conversation with a number saved as ‘Kavita Akka TRS.’ Kavitha dismissed the chat as fake and accused the media of deliberately tarnishing BRS’s image.

She added that she did not know who Sukesh was and that the BJP was trying to defame BRS and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. Kavitha criticized the media for spreading negative propaganda against BRS by publishing false news stories. She also questioned the timing of the release of the letter and accused opponents of Telangana of using media organizations to attack BRS.

Kavitha said that some media outlets had previously written false news stories about her mobile phones and later retracted them. She claimed that these same organizations were now trying to defame the Telangana government.
