They believe that reaching out to beneficiaries and highlighting the government’s efforts will ensure their victory in the upcoming elections. Additionally, they are identifying strong opposition candidates and trying to influence second-rung leaders to join their party. The party leaders want to prove their chances of winning if they are given tickets.
