The second day of training sessions for Telangana MLAs and MLCs saw a significant number of absentees from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party. These sessions were organized to improve governance skills and legislative effectiveness, but the absence of many BRS legislators has raised questions in political circles.
The workshops, held in Hyderabad, aimed to provide elected representatives with insights into effective policymaking and administrative strategies. Senior government officials and subject experts led the sessions, which were designed to prepare participants to address emerging governance challenges and serve the public more effectively.
Despite the importance of the program, the no-show by several BRS members has drawn criticism. Opposition parties and political analysts have questioned the ruling party’s dedication to enhancing governance and ensuring its representatives are well-trained for their roles.
As of now, the reasons for the absence of BRS MLAs and MLCs remain unclear. The party has not issued an official statement addressing the matter. On the other hand, representatives from other political parties and independent legislators actively participated in the sessions, engaging in discussions and making the most of the opportunity.
