    Kavitha Lays Foundation for Telangana Talli Statue in Jagital

    In Jagital, BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha defied government orders by laying the foundation for a grand Telangana Talli statue on Sunday. Kavitha emphasized her commitment to installing the original version of the statue, regardless of government-issued G.O.s and gazettes.

    Speaking at the event, Kavitha highlighted the importance of Telangana Talli, stating that it inspired courage and unity during the Telangana movement. She expressed her dedication to preserving Telangana’s traditions, particularly Bathukamma, and spreading its cultural significance globally.

    Criticism of Congress Government

    Kavitha, daughter of BRS Supremo K. Chandrashekar Rao, criticized the Congress government for allegedly attacking Telangana’s identity, culture, and traditions. She vowed to counter these efforts village by village and announced plans to install statues of the original Telangana Talli in every village across the state.

    Visit to Kasturba Girls Residential School

    During her visit to Sarangapur, Kavitha stopped by the Kasturba Girls Residential School. She interacted with students and teachers, inquiring about the challenges they face. Kavitha called on the government to extend enhanced diet charges to Kasturba schools to ensure nutritious food for all residential school students.

    Call to Regularize Contract Teachers

    Kavitha also urged the government to fulfill its promise of regularizing contract teachers, a commitment made by the Congress party during the assembly elections. She criticized the Congress government for neglecting this issue and reiterated her dedication to protecting the rights and cultural pride of Telangana.

    Massive Support and Bathukamma Celebration

    MLC Kavitha received a warm and massive welcome in Jagital, with thousands of supporters gathering in her honor. As a mark of protest against what she called the “Congress Matha” version of the Telangana Talli statue, Kavitha celebrated Bathukamma with thousands of women. This traditional floral festival became a symbol of defiance and cultural pride during her visit.

    Through her actions and statements, Kavitha reiterated her commitment to safeguarding Telangana’s identity and traditions while addressing key issues faced by the community.
