Srinivas Goud, a leader of the BRS party, criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his actions in the state. Goud claimed that the Prime Minister came to the state to spread negativity and did not fulfill the promises made in the AP Reorganisation Act. Instead of a coach factory, he only provided a small repair factory, which betrayed the people of Telangana. Goud also questioned the BJP’s role during the Telangana agitation.

Goud further accused Modi of undermining leaders like Advani and betraying the people of Telangana by merging seven mandals into Andhra Pradesh. He stated that Telangana has the ability to supply rice to the entire country even during droughts, and it is central to all the schemes introduced by the government.
