BRS files complaint with ECI regarding Congress' advertisements

The BRS party has filed a complaint with the Election Commission of India, stating that the Congress party has failed to follow the commission’s orders regarding their advertisements. The BRS leaders, led by S Bharat, head of the legal team, expressed their concern that the Congress party’s advertisements are in violation of the model code of conduct and the regulations set by the media certification and monitoring committee (mCMC).

According to the BRS leaders, the Election Commission had ordered the removal of these advertisements as they were against the rules. However, the broadcasting of these advertisements continued without any action from the Commission. The BRS leader expressed disappointment in the Commission’s inaction, as it is causing damage to their party’s image. They expected the Commission to protect their legitimate interests and take action against the illegal attacks.

They also requested that the TPCC President be held accountable for these deliberate violations and be disqualified from campaigning for his party in any forum until the elections are completed.
