BRS leaders have filed a complaint with the Cyberabad Cyber Crime Police Station. They are demanding legal action against the ‘Telugu Vibes’ Twitter handle and the Congress social media team. The complaint accuses them of spreading false information about BRS president K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) and senior leader T Harish Rao.
According to the complaint, false claims were made on Twitter suggesting that KCR and Harish Rao had internal conflicts. It was also alleged that Harish Rao was being sidelined politically. BRS leaders have strongly condemned these claims, calling them an attempt to mislead the public and create divisions within the party.
Speaking to the media, BRS leader RS Praveen Kumar criticized the authorities for their handling of the issue. He pointed out that BRS social media supporters are being arrested quickly, while those spreading false news about BRS leaders are not even facing an FIR. He called this a biased approach and said it was unacceptable.
Another BRS leader, Dasoju Sravan, accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s social media team of spreading false propaganda. He claimed that the Congress party was resorting to such tactics because it could not accept BRS’s growing public support. He also said that Harish Rao continues to have strong public backing, which the ruling party finds difficult to digest.
BRS leaders have demanded the immediate registration of cases against those responsible for spreading misinformation. They also called for the arrest of individuals making baseless allegations against the party.
