In Hyderabad, BRS leaders criticized the Congress party for promising to bring the Anti-defection Law while encouraging defections. BRS working president KT Rama Rao called this hypocrisy and questioned the party’s actions on Twitter.
Senior BRS leader T Harish Rao wrote an open letter to Rahul Gandhi, accusing the Congress party of making empty promises and then ignoring them. He pointed out the irony of talking about passing a law to prevent defections while admitting BRS MLAs into the party and giving them MP tickets.
At a press conference, former Minister G Jagadish Reddy accused the Congress party of deceiving people with false promises. He mentioned how they had cheated the people of Karnataka and warned that they were preparing to do the same to the people of the country.
The BRS leader emphasized that party chief K Chandrashekar Rao would continue providing support to farmers through programs like Rythu Bandhu. Jagadish Reddy also called out Komatireddy Venkat Reddy for denying involvement in certain projects and urged him to reveal the truth.
