KTR Claims State Government Ignored Warnings Before SLBC Tunnel Disaster

BRS Working President K. Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) has...

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has been facing a lot of criticism lately, especially from opposition parties, for their handling of the COVID-19 pandemic in India. The latest addition to this list of critics is BRS City In-Charge of Telangana, K. Taraka Rama Rao, who has accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of being a “compulsive liar” and “misleading the nation” during the pandemic.

    K. Taraka Rama Rao, who is also the son of Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, made these comments during a virtual rally organized by the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party. He accused the BJP-led government of “failing miserably” in handling the pandemic and said that Modi’s speeches were nothing but “empty promises.”

Rao’s comments come at a time when India is struggling to contain the second wave of COVID-19 infections. The country has been reporting record-high numbers of new cases and deaths every day, and hospitals are overwhelmed with patients. The government has been criticized for its slow response to the crisis and for not doing enough to ensure an adequate supply of medical oxygen and other essential supplies.

Rao also criticized the central government’s vaccination policy, saying that it was “flawed” and “biased.” He said that while some states were getting enough doses of the vaccine, others were struggling to get even a fraction of what they needed. He accused the government of playing politics with people’s lives and said that it was “unacceptable.”

The TRS leader’s comments have sparked a debate on social media, with many people expressing their support for him. However, others have criticized him for politicizing the issue and for attacking the Prime Minister personally.

It is not the first time that Modi has been accused of lying or misleading the public. His critics have often accused him of making false promises and of exaggerating his achievements. However, the Prime Minister’s supporters have defended him, saying that he has done a lot for the country and that his efforts should be appreciated.

The COVID-19 pandemic has put a spotlight on the government’s handling of public health issues in India. The country has a long way to go in terms of improving its healthcare infrastructure and ensuring that all citizens have access to quality healthcare. The government’s response to the pandemic will be closely scrutinized in the coming months, and it remains to be seen whether it will be able to address the concerns raised by its critics.
