BRS leaders in Hyderabad clarified that their party chief, K Chandrashekar Rao, never accused Justice L Narsimha Reddy of leading a BJP-backed institution named Keshav Memorial. The former judge made personal remarks after being asked to step down as chairman of the Commission, including comments on MLC Kavita’s legal issues, which are still being resolved in court.

During a press conference, BRS leader M Krishank stated that the inquiry Commission was created solely to tarnish the reputation of former chief minister KCR. The Chief Justice of India mentioned apparent malice in the Commission’s operations and requested Narasimha Reddy to step down. Krishank criticized the retired judge for making disrespectful comments about the Supreme Court and KCR, potentially leading to contempt of court charges under Section 142(2).

KCR had not made any personal comments about the Commission or Narasimha Reddy before. His responses focused on government matters like electricity trade between Chattisgarh and Telangana. Despite protests from Congress leaders Uttam and Bhatti regarding land issues, KCR did not accuse Narsimha Reddy of leading the BJP-affiliated Keshav Memorial.

Narasimha Reddy’s personal remarks after stepping down as chairman, including comments on MLC Kavita’s legal troubles, reveal his political bias against KCR. The Supreme Court’s reaction serves as a lesson to CM Revanth, who is urged to apologize for initiating a Commission with unfounded accusations against KCR, as demanded by Krishank.
