Hyderabad District Election Officer (DEO) Ronald Rose and Hyderabad city police commissioner Sandeep Shandilya briefed Election Commission observers on the measures being taken to ensure a smooth and fair polling day for the Telangana State Legislative Assembly elections on November 30.

The briefing took place at the Telangana State Police Integrated Command and Control Center (TSPICCC), where key strategies were discussed with the observers. DEO Ronald Rose emphasized the use of advanced technology for surveillance, including webcasting and GPS tracking systems for vehicles transporting Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs). Micro observers will be stationed at critical polling stations.

Commissioner Sandeep Shandilya shared the detailed security arrangements for the polling day. Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) will be deployed at critical polling stations, supported by 391 route mobiles, patrolling vehicles, blue colts, and other vehicles to respond promptly to any incidents. A network of flying squad teams, static surveillance teams, and static pickets is already operational. Special striking forces, task force teams, and QRT teams will also be deployed.
