    Hyderabad: Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav informed that the Bonalu festival celebrations of the Mahankali Ammavaru temple in Secunderabad will be conducted peacefully and grandly with the cooperation of everyone. He spoke at a media gathering held at the temple premises on Tuesday evening. The Minister congratulated each and every person involved in the organization of the Bonalu festival.

    Explaining the significance of the Bonalu festival as a symbol of our culture, Minister Talasani stated that without any discrimination, devotees from various sections of society work together tirelessly to make all arrangements for the festival. He highlighted the efforts made by the police, traffic, electrical, water works, and revenue departments along with officials from the endowment department in organizing the event.

    To ensure peace and smooth flow of the festival, the Minister informed that a strong police bandobast (security arrangement) has been set up and electricity lights have been installed. He also mentioned that there would be no obstacles in transportation and that additional transformers and generators have been placed to provide uninterrupted power supply.

    The Minister also mentioned that GHMC has taken steps to maintain cleanliness by ensuring proper sanitation in and around the temple premises. The health department has organized health camps for the well-being of devotees. The tourism department has created a three-dimensional mapping to showcase the uniqueness of the Bonalu festival.

    Present at the temple were Minister Vemula Mohan Reddy, Chairman Ramesh, Mahankali AC Ramesh, CI Kaveti Srinivasulu, former corporator Attili Arun Goud, committee members Kishore, Jagadeesh Varma, KM Krishna, Mahender, Chari, Dubai Srinu, and others.
