Union Home Minister Amit Shah will release the BJP’s election manifesto for the upcoming Assembly elections during his visit to the state on November 17. The manifesto will outline the party’s plans for the next five years, including the promise of a BC (Backward Classes) chief minister and SC (Scheduled Castes) categorisation. It will also cover issues such as filling government jobs, teachers’ positions, water sharing, BC Sub-Plan, free healthcare and education, women empowerment, housing, and strengthening state universities.
A State party leader stated that both welfare and development will be given equal priority in the manifesto. There will also be some new announcements included.
