BJP’s Farmers Meeting on Krishna Water Scheduled for Today

The BJP is planning to hold a farmers’ meet called RythuSadassu in Hyderabad. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss Telangana’s share in the Krishna water and how the Centre’s decision will benefit the state. Engineers, irrigation experts, and farmers from the Krishna Basin areas have been invited to participate and share their suggestions. This meeting will also celebrate the establishment of the Krishna Tribunal, which will permanently decide Telangana’s share in the Krishna water. The State BJP aims to highlight how Chief Minister KCR agreed to a lesser share in water with his counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu and how the state has been deprived of its rightful share for 10 years. The Union Minister for Agriculture, Kailas Chowdhary, will be the chief guest, and the State BJP president, G Kishan Reddy, will preside over the meeting.
