Several Congress leaders, including former MLA Akula Rajender and former MLC M Rangareddy, are expected to join the BJP soon. Along with them, two other leaders, Jaipal Reddy and Lakshma Reddy, are also set to join the party.

Akula Rajender, who previously served as an MLA, and Rangareddy, a follower of former Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, met with BJP leaders DK Aruna and G Kishan Reddy to discuss their chances in the party. It is worth noting that Akula Rajender currently represents the same constituency as TPCC Chief A Revanth Reddy.

Jaipal Reddy, the son of former MP Baga Reddy, is interested in contesting from the Zaheerabad segment in the next Lok Sabha election. He has received approval from the party for this. Lakshma Reddy, who hopes to secure a ticket from the Tandur Assembly constituency, has also been assured a ticket by the BJP.
