The Telangana BJP State Executive meeting was held on Tuesday. They decided to have a day-long party meeting on July 12 to make a plan to push for the promises made by the Congress party. BJP state general secretary Gujjula Premender Reddy said that the meeting included secretaries and leaders of the party. They talked about how the Congress party has not kept its promises from the State Assembly elections.
The BJP has been protesting on Monday and Tuesday to urge the State government to fulfill its promises to women. The Congress had pledged a Rs 2 lakh farm loan waiver scheme, Rs 15,000 financial help for farmers, and other benefits. The Bharatiya Kisan Morcha protested at mandal revenue offices on Tuesday and will be protesting at district collectorates on Wednesday.
The State government also didn’t follow through on its promises to provide job opportunities for unemployed youth. They are appointing committees to try to reduce the number of people who can benefit from the promised schemes.
