Warangal: Gujjula Premender Reddy, who is running for the Council seat from the Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda Graduates Constituency, stated that even though the BJP does not have a lawmaker in the region, the Central Government has implemented many welfare and developmental programs. He mentioned initiatives like a wagon manufacturing unit in Kazipet and a tribal university in Mulugu, as well as bringing the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park under the MITRA Park scheme to attract investments and create jobs.
During a ‘Meet the Press’ event in Hanumakonda, Premender highlighted that the Ramappa Temple was recognized as a World Heritage Site thanks to efforts by the Narendra Modi Government. He also praised the BJP for supporting farmers through schemes like P Kisan Samman Nidhi and PM Kisan Yojana. Additionally, he criticized the Congress Government for not addressing issues faced by unemployed youth and employees, referring to GO 317 and GO 46.
According to Premender, the Congress party won power in Telangana by making unrealistic promises. The event was attended by members of the Greater Warangal Press Club including president Vemula Nagaraju, general secretary Bollarapu Sadaiah, treasurer Bolla Amar, and journalists B Dayasagar and Gaddam Raji Reddy.
