Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the Telangana BJP state president and MP, was detained by the Telangana police from his residence in Karimnagar during the early hours of Wednesday. He was taken to Bommalaramaram police station in Yadadri Bhuavanagiri district. A team of police officers picked him up from his house on Wednesday in Karimnagar. Sanjay tweeted about his detention at 12:46 am, expressing his concern about the fear that exists in the state. He further added that he was prevented from conducting a press meet earlier and now arrested late in the night. Sanjay believes that his only mistake was to question the BRS government on its wrongdoings. He urged people not to stop questioning the government even if he is jailed.
