Former MLA and BJP State secretary M Raghunandan Rao criticized the double standards and pseudo-secularism of Congress and BRS leaders. He questioned why Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and BRS leader MLA KT Rama Rao and MLC K Kavitha selectively reacted to the apex court verdict on the Bilkis Bano case. Rao stated that their response shows they are two sides of the same coin. He also pointed out that these leaders did not openly welcome the full bench ruling in favor of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

Rao highlighted how the Rajeev Gandhi government had undone the Supreme Court verdict in the Shabano case by bringing a special law. He emphasized that this exposes the double faces of these leaders and parties who engage in appeasement politics for votes. Rao mentioned that his party respects the verdicts of any court, but criticized the selective reaction and response of Congress and BRS leaders, who welcome a verdict in favor of Muslims but denounce it if it favors Hindus. He questioned why these parties and leaders did not welcome a court verdict ordering a survey of the Gyanavapi disputed site and why the UPA government favored the demolition of Ram Setu.

Rao also criticized BRS leaders for their response to the Bilkis Bano case but questioned why they did not speak out about the rape and murder of Tekulapally Lakshmi in Adilabad district. He accused Congress and BRS of making similar statements and taking similar stands on issues, suggesting they share the same political landscape. Rao clarified that the BJP will not form an alliance with the BRS and will contest in all 17 Lok Sabha segments on its own, refuting claims that the BJP and BRS are together.
