The BJP unit in Hyderabad has announced a five-fold ‘Vijaya Sankalpa Yatra’ from February 20 to March 1 as part of their campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. G Kishan Reddy, the party chief and Union Minister, stated that people across the country want Narendra Modi to be the Prime Minister for the third time. He also mentioned that there is a positive vibe in favor of the BJP in the LS constituencies. The party plans to contest all 17 LS constituencies in Telangana and has a specific plan to win the Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat.
The ‘Vijaya Sankalpa Yatra’ will consist of five separate yatras starting in different places across the State. Each yatra will cover different constituencies and will include road shows and public meetings. The yatras will eventually merge in Hyderabad. The BJP is confident about winning a majority of seats and believes that the main fight in the upcoming elections will be between the BJP and Congress. Reddy emphasized that people are in favor of a corruption-free and development-oriented government under Modi’s leadership.
The party also condemned the remarks made by Karnataka Congress leaders about forming a separate southern country, considering them objectionable and secessionist in nature. The leaders released a Vijaya Sankalpa Yatra poster and paid tribute to Deendayal Upadhyaya on his death anniversary.
