BJP Leaders Visit Budaga Jangala Colony in Gadwal
In Gadwal, BJP leaders, led by Aija Town President Kompati Bhagat Reddy, visited the Budaga Jangala Colony to address community issues and interact with residents. The event aimed to strengthen ties with the local population and understand their grievances.
Jogulamba Gadwal District BJP President S. Ramachandra Reddy also participated in the visit. During his speech, he spoke about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s inspiring words on the 75th anniversary of the Indian Constitution, urging residents to work together and bring their concerns to the attention of authorities.
Reddy criticized the Congress government for neglecting the legacy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. He pointed out that Congress failed to progress key reforms like the Hindu Code Bill proposed by Dr. Ambedkar and did not rehabilitate Dalit refugees after Partition, which caused immense suffering to the community.
He also highlighted that Congress governments under Nehru, Indira Gandhi, and Rajiv Gandhi did not honor Dr. Ambedkar with the Bharat Ratna. Instead, it was the BJP-supported government in 1990 that finally awarded him the prestigious honor, recognizing his significant contributions to the nation.
Under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, Reddy explained, the BJP has been actively preserving and promoting Dr. Ambedkar’s legacy. Initiatives include the development of his “Panch Teerthas”—Janmabhoomi, Shiksha Bhoomi, Deeksha Bhoomi, Mahaparinirvan Bhoomi, and Chaitya Bhoomi. The government is also working to digitize Dr. Ambedkar’s writings and speeches to ensure future generations can access his ideas.
The event was attended by several BJP leaders, including Kisan Morcha State Executive Member Medikonda Bhimsen Rao, Mandal President Gopalakrishna, Town Vice Presidents Lakshman Goud, and Social Media Convener Chinni Krishna. Many residents from the colony, including children and elders, also participated.
This visit highlighted BJP’s efforts to address community issues and its commitment to honoring the legacy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
