BJP Leaders Demand Better Security in Aiza

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) town president of Aiza, Kampati Bhagat Reddy, along with party members, submitted a petition to Sub-Inspector Srinivasa Rao at the Aiza Police Station. They urged the police to take immediate action to restore law and order in the town and mandal headquarters.

BJP leaders raised concerns about the deteriorating security situation in Aiza. They cited a recent shocking incident where a woman was abducted in a car and later found murdered with her throat slit. The crime happened close to the Aiza police station but was only discovered much later, raising serious concerns about public safety.

In addition, the leaders pointed out incidents of vandalism targeting banners set up for the Sri Sri Sri Tikka Veereshwara Swamy Mahotsavam. Several banners were torn down or went missing near the new bus stand. They claimed that despite informing Sub-Inspector Srinivasa Rao and Circle Inspector Tata Babu, no significant action was taken by the authorities.

The BJP leaders also referred to security failures in Hyderabad. They mentioned an incident where a fraudster entered the Telangana Police Command Control Center three times and cheated an innocent person of Rs. 2.82 lakh by pretending to be a Task Force constable. Similarly, unidentified individuals entered the Telangana Secretariat four times using fake identities as employees. These incidents, they argued, highlight a major law-and-order failure across the state.

“If such security breaches can happen at the state level, what about the safety of common people in smaller towns like Aiza?” questioned the BJP leaders.

They strongly criticized the local police for failing to identify the vehicle and criminals involved in the woman’s murder, despite the crime occurring near the police station. They also pointed out that the repeated vandalism of public property, missing banners, and violent crimes against women show a complete breakdown of security in Aiza.

As a solution, the BJP leaders demanded the immediate installation of CCTV cameras in key areas of Aiza, including major intersections and both entry points of the town. They warned that if authorities failed to act, BJP members and local residents would launch large-scale protests and demonstrations.

Several BJP leaders and activists, including Adi, Rajasekhar, Narasimhulu, Raghu, Bhimesh, and others, took part in submitting the petition.
