They made this decision in the presence of Congress Uppal candidate Parameshwar Reddy. Krishna stated that he believes the development of Mallapur division can only be achieved through the Congress party, hence his decision to join them.
Parameshwar Reddy, who invited them to join the party, urged them to work diligently for the Congress.
