A 30-year-old leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) named Anuj Chaudhary was shot and killed outside his home in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. He was attacked by unidentified individuals on motorcycles while he was taking a walk near his apartment. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he died from his injuries. The police have confirmed this information.
The victim’s family members filed a complaint, leading to a case against two individuals named Amit Chaudhary and Aniket. Anuj Chaudhary had previously run for the block chief elections but was unsuccessful. His family believes that his political opponents are responsible for his death.
The police are investigating the incident and have identified four individuals involved in the conflict. They are actively searching for these suspects and have formed five teams to apprehend them. Once they are arrested, appropriate legal action will be taken.
In a separate incident in Sultanpur district, Uttar Pradesh, an advocate named Azad was shot and killed by unidentified individuals. The incident occurred at Nekrahi village when a group of individuals in an SUV arrived at a tea stall where Azad and his brother were present and started firing at them.
Authorities are continuing their investigation into both incidents.
