    Kisan Morcha State president Kondapalli Sridhar Reddy recently interacted with farmers in Chintakani mandal in Khammam district. The Bharatiya Janata Party’s agricultural wing, the Kisan Morcha, is currently running a nationwide campaign to limit the use of insecticides and chemical fertilizers in agriculture. As a part of this campaign, the State Kisan Morcha is interacting with farmers to raise awareness of natural farming in the district.

    During the programme, Sridhar Reddy explained that the BJP Kisan Morcha wing started the campaign for natural farming nationwide. The party also conducted seminars on the use of millet and organic farming to help farmers in their districts. The programme has received a huge response nationwide and aims to connect 3 crore farmers in the next three years for educating them.

    Sridhar Reddy conveyed special thanks to Prime Minister Modi and Kisan Morcha National President MP Rajkumar Chahar for encouraging farming in the country and promoting millet farming. He informed the farmers that with the efforts of Prime Minister Modi, the United Nations General Assembly declared 2023 as the International Year of Millets. He explained the benefits of natural and millet farming to the farmers.

    BJP and Kisan Morcha leaders such as Eluru Nageswara Rao, Veera Prasad, Srinivas Reddy, P Krishnaiah, K Sikhinder, K Gopi, K Venkanna, P Praveen, Siva, Vandanam, Vijay, Praneeth Reddy, Sambasiva Rao, Ramesh and others also participated in the programme. The programme is an important initiative to promote natural and organic farming practices among farmers across India.
