Union Minister and State BJP chief G Kishan Reddy and party national vice-president DK Aruna have condemned the actions of AIMIM activists at Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar’s office. Reddy stated that the BJP will not be deterred by such actions and that the Telangana society will unite with the party. Aruna criticized AIMIM for resorting to provocative actions.
Aruna also questioned KTR’s accusations of the BJP resorting to communal politics, asking him to comment on the actions of his friendly party. She warned that provocative remarks and actions will not be tolerated and criticized the police in Karimnagar for not taking action during the attack.
Meanwhile, BJP leaders led by B Praveen Rao accused MIM activists of acting like goons and conspiring to create communal tension. They alleged that MIM activists raised anti-national slogans and used abusive language to provoke. The BJP leaders filed a complaint with the Police Commissioner seeking legal action to prevent such incidents from happening again.
The Karimnagar police deployed force near the MP’s office to maintain peace and warned of stringent action against anyone who tries to disrupt it. Reports suggest that some Muslim youth caused tension during a procession, leading to provocative comments against Bandi. Youngsters also created a ruckus in front of Bandi’s house and office, raising slogans that terrified the locals.
Praveen Rao complained that MIM activists tried to provoke religious sentiments by raising anti-national slogans and insulting the MP. He stated that MIM goons kicked the MP’s office gates in an attempt to create communal strife.
