The BJP in Telangana organized a 24-hour protest called ‘Raythu Hamila Sadahana Deeksha’ to support farmers. The protest began on Monday at Indira Park in Hyderabad and ended on Tuesday. Party leaders, including Etala Rajender, Dharmapuri Aravind, and several MLAs, attended the protest. They criticized the state government for not fulfilling its promise to waive farm loans.

On Tuesday, BJP leader A. Maheshwar Reddy responded to statements made by State Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao. Reddy said that the BJP has always kept its promises, unlike the Congress party, which he claimed made false promises just to win elections. He accused Congress leaders of failing to keep their commitments to the people of Telangana.

Reddy also criticized Senior Congress leader Jeevan Reddy, saying that the public is tired of Congress’s repeated promises. He alleged that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is collecting money to send to Delhi every month. He also accused State Finance Minister Bhatti Vikramarka of imposing a tax to send more funds to Delhi.

Maheshwar Reddy added that he has exposed several corruption cases but no action has been taken. He promised that the BJP will continue to fight for farmers until the state government honors its commitments.
