The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is preparing for the upcoming Rajasthan Assembly elections. They have divided the state into seven zones. Leaders from different states have been given responsibility for each zone.
Each zone will have an appointed in-charge, and various leaders will work on strengthening the party’s position in the constituencies within their respective zones. These leaders will stay in touch with the zone in-charge and keep the party headquarters informed about the situation on the ground.
For example, Asim Goyal, an MLA from Haryana, has been appointed as the in-charge for the Bikaner Zone, which includes five districts. In Bikaner city, Subhash Sharma, the State Vice President of Punjab, is responsible for two constituencies. Similarly, in the Bikaner rural area, Satyaprakash Jarawata, a legislator from Haryana, has been given charge of five legislative assemblies.
The BJP’s aim with this planning is to have a strong and coordinated presence in Rajasthan for the upcoming 2023 Legislative Assembly elections, expected to happen in or before December this year.
