In Warangal, there was a dramatic turn of events as Aroori Ramesh, a member of the BRS party, was stopped by his party leaders just before he could announce his decision to join the BJP. Outside his home in Hanumakonda, chaos erupted as BRS leaders like Errabelli Dayakar Rao and MLC Baswaraj Saraiah intervened and convinced Ramesh to stay with the party.
Ramesh had met with top BJP leaders and was offered a ticket to contest the Warangal Lok Sabha seat. He was planning to announce his departure from the BRS and head to Delhi to join the BJP. However, Errabelli and others took him to KCR’s residence in Hyderabad, despite protests from BJP supporters at Ramesh’s home. Ramesh seemed emotional during these events, even speaking with BJP State president G Kishan Reddy over the phone.
After meeting with KCR in Hyderabad, Ramesh decided to stay with the BRS and confirmed that he had no intentions of joining the BJP. It was revealed that he had previously declined an offer to contest from the Warangal Lok Sabha seat when it was proposed by KCR. Meanwhile, sitting MP Pasunuri Dayakar requested the BRS leadership to nominate him once again.
