Bhupalpally Congress candidate Gandra Sathyanarayana Rao, also known as Sathenna, spoke at a gathering during his Praja Deevena Yatra in Mogullapally mandal of Jayashankar Bhupalpally district on Monday. He stated that if Congress wins the Telangana Assembly elections, they will begin implementing the ‘Six Guarantees’ promised to the people within three months.

Sathenna criticized the BRS government for not providing compensation to the flood-affected people in the Bhupalpally constituency. He mentioned that various issues faced by the people have remained unaddressed for the past nine years. Despite the proximity of River Godavari, farmers in the district have not benefited from it. Additionally, the Bhupalpally hospital lacks proper equipment, even though the ruling party claims to have done a lot for healthcare. Sathenna also highlighted that private hospitals refuse to treat patients using the Arogyasri health card.

If voted into power, the Congress will fulfill the ‘Six Guarantees,’ which include the Mahalakshmi scheme, free RTC bus travel for women, subsidized gas cylinders, Rythu Bharosa, paddy crop bonus, and free electricity. Sathenna pointed out that the KCR government failed to deliver on their election promises, such as providing double bedroom houses to the poor and three acres of land to Dalit families. He mentioned that people are voluntarily joining the Congress, indicating a potential end to KCR’s rule.
