Shilparamam to Host Bhogi Palla Utsavam in Madhapur and Uppal
Shilparamam Madhapur and Uppal campuses in Hyderabad are gearing up to celebrate the Bhogi Palla Utsavam on Monday, January 13. The event is part of the Sankranti festivities taking place at these cultural centers.
Officials from Shilparamam shared that the ongoing Sankranti celebrations have captivated visitors with traditional performances. Activities such as Gangireddulu vinyasalu, Haridasu, budabukkalu, jangamadevarulu, kommadasaralu, erukalasani, and pittaladora are being showcased, offering a glimpse into rich cultural traditions. The Bhogi Palla Utsavam is scheduled to begin at 5 PM on January 13 at both locations.
In addition to this, Shilparamam has lined up more cultural programs. On January 14, visitors can enjoy Godakalyanam, classical Kuchipudi and Bharatnatyam dance ballets, as well as the famous Mayabazar Surabhi drama.
From January 13 to 16, two folk art forms, Garudi Gombe and Yakshagana, will also be performed. These have been sponsored by the South Zone Cultural Centre, Thanjavur, further enhancing the festive celebrations.
