Hyderabad: CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka criticized the low number of functioning days for Assembly sessions in Telangana. He challenged the government to run the session for at least 20 days to allow for proper debate on important issues. Despite the party’s request for discussions on pressing topics like floods and land-related issues, these matters were ignored.

Bhatti questioned the purpose of attaining Telangana if the government was selling its lands, which goes against the reason for the separation from Andhra Pradesh. He alleged that instead of seizing surplus lands from the privileged, the government was taking away assigned lands from the poor.

Responding to claims that the Opposition was unable to face the ruling party, Bhatti stated that if this were true, the government should continue the session and engage in debate. He demanded that they give the microphone to the Congress party if they were serious about taking on the opposition.
