Bhadrachalam: Podem Veeraiah, the Congress MLA and district Congress president, strongly criticized the BRS government and called for accountability and change. He specifically targeted Pinpaka MLA Rega Kantha Rao, the chief of the BRS district, during his address at his camp office on Saturday.

Veeraiah warned Rega Kantha Rao to control his speech and questioned the allocation of funds for the development of the constituency over the past nine years. He claimed that despite Rega being a government whip, Bhadrachalam remained underdeveloped.

Veeraiah also accused BRS MLAs of betraying the public. He alleged that these MLAs were more focused on collecting money instead of serving the needs of the people. He highlighted the suffering of the population due to the lack of ration cards and job opportunities.

In a sarcastic tone, he mocked BRS chief CM KCR and criticized Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay for failing to improve Bhadrachalam’s bus stand, which is an important border crossing for four states.
