Call for BC Leadership in Palamuru Region

The President of BC Samaj United Mahabubnagar District, M. Srinivas Sagar pointed out that, currently, all district presidents of major political parties come from upper castes. He highlighted the growing awareness among the BC community and called for recognition of experienced BC leaders who have been loyal and dedicated to their parties for years.

Addressing the Congress party, he urged them to appoint BC leaders as district presidents. He praised the party’s commitment to BC welfare, particularly their plan to implement 42% BC reservations in the upcoming local body elections. “If Congress supports BC leadership, it will prove their dedication to the community,” he stated.

Srinivas Sagar also commented on the BJP, which he said positions itself as an advocate for BCs and has many senior BC leaders within its ranks. He noted that giving leadership roles to BCs in the BJP would help the party strengthen its support among the BC community.

Regarding the TRS party, he mentioned that a former minister currently holds the district president position. He suggested that appointing a BC leader in TRS would enhance the party’s grassroots presence and improve its future electoral prospects.

He concluded by stating that if Congress, BJP, and TRS all appoint BC leaders as district presidents, it would consolidate support from the BC community across the district and increase their chances of electoral success.

The event was attended by several prominent leaders, including Rajaka Sangha District President Durgesh, BC Samaj Devarakadra Convener B. Shekhar, BC Samaj Bhootpur Mandal Convener Anjaneyulu, Rajaka Sangha Vice President Narasimhulu, General Secretary Dudyala Mallesh, and BC Samaj member Vishwanath.
