    Telangana Government Announces Financial Aid for BC Community

    The Telangana government, under the leadership of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, has announced financial aid of Rs. 1 crore for BC (Backward Classes) communities. This aid is aimed at providing economic support to BC families engaged in traditional occupations and professions. The government has initiated the process of selecting eligible beneficiaries for the program, which has been allocated a budget of Rs. 400 crore. The funds will be distributed to the selected applicants under the program.

    With the aim of uplifting BC communities and promoting their economic development, the Telangana government has announced financial aid for BC families engaged in traditional occupations and professions. The decision to provide financial assistance of Rs. 1 lakh to BC families based on their income from traditional occupations and professions was taken by the government. A website has been launched in this regard, where applications for the program can be submitted. Members of various BC communities, including Vishwabrahmins, Nayee Brahmins, Rajakulu, Kummaris, Medaris, and others, have already started applying for financial assistance through the website. The financial aid is being provided to support the beneficiaries in their livelihoods, education, and other essential needs.

    In another initiative, the Telangana government has announced financial aid of Rs. 1 crore for BC families engaged in other occupations and professions. The program, which aims to provide economic support to BC families involved in various trades and businesses, has also begun the process of selecting eligible beneficiaries. The applications submitted by rural residents are being reviewed, and relevant information is being collected to create a list of qualified applicants. The Ministerial Committee for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development has instructed Collectors to ensure that Gram Panchayat functionaries within their jurisdiction fulfill their responsibilities in overseeing the implementation of the program. Mandal Parishad officials and Mandal Panchayat officials have also been directed to monitor the progress of the initiative. The government has sent out sample application forms for the selection of beneficiaries, and officials are collecting relevant information to finalize the list of beneficiaries.
