Nizamabad: Telangana BC Commission Chairman, G Niranjan, has announced that the commission will soon submit a report to the State government about local body reservations. This report will be based on public opinions and a detailed household survey. The goal is to ensure the report is scientifically accurate.

The commission, led by Chairman G Niranjan and members T Surender, R Jayaprakash, and Balalakshmi, held a public hearing in Nizamabad. They invited political parties, caste associations, and the public to share their views. The district administration, overseen by Collector Rajeev Gandhi Hanumanthu, helped organize the event.

A household survey will be conducted in November to understand the socio-economic conditions of the community. The results of this survey will help in finalizing the reservation proposals.
