Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has set up a special commission to ensure that Backward Classes (BC) reservations in local bodies are implemented smoothly and without any legal issues. This move has been welcomed by various BC associations, who recently expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister.
Leaders like R. Krishnaiah, the National President of the BC Welfare Association and former Member of Parliament, along with MLA Danam Nagender and Mattu Sai Kumar, Chairman of the Fishermen’s Corporation, met with the Chief Minister at his residence in Jubilee Hills. They thanked him for his efforts to support the BC communities.
During the meeting, R. Krishnaiah and other BC leaders praised the government for forming the commission. They reminded the Chief Minister of the Congress party’s promises regarding BC reservations. In response, Revanth Reddy affirmed that the establishment of the commission was in line with the commitments made during the election campaign, and it would help in the proper implementation of the reservation process.
The creation of this commission is seen as an important step towards addressing the concerns of BC communities and ensuring fair representation in local governance.
