Despite a demand from the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act, the plant remains incomplete, and Minister KTR urged for the fulfillment of this demand.
Over the past few years, we have been fighting for the establishment of the Bayyaram Steel Plant. We have requested the central government through various means, but the BJP-led Union Government has consistently ignored our pleas. KTR voiced his disappointment and questioned the lack of enthusiasm from the central government, even after nine years of waiting.
The Bayyaram Steel Plant, which has been pending for a long time, requires various resources such as water, electricity, and skilled workforce. The minister highlighted these challenges and emphasized that the Telangana government is ready to provide all necessary support for the construction of the plant. The local youth have been deprived of employment opportunities due to the delay in establishing the steel plant, and Minister KTR brought attention to this issue.
In light of Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Telangana, Minister KTR urged him to make a firm decision regarding the establishment of the Bayyaram Steel Plant. He emphasized the importance of this project and its potential to generate employment and contribute to the industrial development of the region.
