Wine shops in Hyderabad will be closed for two days during the Bonalu festival, according to City Police Commissioner CV Anand. This includes bars, clubs, pubs, and any other businesses that serve alcohol. The closure will be in effect from 6 am on July 16 to 6 pm on July 17.

The decision to close these establishments was made to prevent any trouble during the festival, which takes place every year in the month of Ashada. CP CV Anand has warned that strict action will be taken against anyone who violates these orders and opens their shops. Similarly, if people are caught drinking alcohol and causing a disturbance, they will face legal consequences.

Police have installed CC cameras and are monitoring the area from the command control room to ensure the safety of the large number of devotees attending the festival.
