Tension arose in Hyderabad when police barricaded BJP national general secretary Bandi Sanjay Kumar and party members from visiting victims of a recent attack by a slaughterhouse mafia in Chengicherla. There were reports of minor injuries to both police and party members during the incident. Despite the barricades, the MP managed to interact with the victims.

Later, Bandi addressed the media, questioning the Congress minority declaration and criticizing the police for their handling of the situation. He accused the police of bias and questioned their actions in preventing him and others from showing support to the victims. He also alleged involvement of Rohingyas and armed anti-social elements in the attack.

The MP criticized the police for filing cases against the victims instead of taking action against the attackers. He demanded suspension of certain officers and accused the government of discrimination against Hindus during festivals. The victims themselves claimed that they were beaten by both the attackers and police, who then mistreated them at the police station.

Bandi expressed concern over the suppression of the incident and emphasized the importance of transparency in such cases. He called for proper investigation and justice for the victims. The incident has raised questions about law enforcement and protection of vulnerable communities in the area.
