Former State BJP chief, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, has criticized the portrayal of Nizam as a benevolent ruler in order to hide the cruel realities of his regime. He believes that many people aged 18-40 are unaware of the dark past of Nizam’s rule. Kumar released the poster of a film on Razarkar atrocities and applauded the filmmakers for bringing out the facts. He mentioned the difficulties faced during the making of the film but emphasized that it did not stop the shooting.
Kumar also highlighted the importance of celebrating Telangana Liberation Day on September 17 and accused certain groups of misrepresenting the Telangana movement and its history. He praised the Razakar film for attempting to show the real history and urged people to promote it through social media and watch it. Kumar expressed his hope that the success of the movie would inspire the creation of more historical movies in the future, promising to support its success.
