Bandi Sanjay, BJP National General Secretary and Member of Parliament, gave a passionate speech at a party meeting in the Chevella assembly constituency. He emphasized the party’s determination to challenge Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s authority and bring about transformation in Telangana.
Sanjay expressed concerns about KCR’s third term and compared it to the life-threatening stage of cancer. He urged citizens to consider this fact. He criticized KCR for not delivering significant benefits to the public and questioned the list of candidates from KCR’s BRS party, calling them the ‘Dandu Palayam Gang’. Sanjay reassured the people that BJP will always advocate for their welfare, even if it means facing legal consequences.
Sanjay also highlighted the unpredictability of KCR’s party and accused him of channeling funds to Congress MLA candidates. He argued that BJP is the only steadfast choice in such situations. Sanjay scrutinized KCR’s track record in uplifting marginalized communities and accused him of diluting Dr B R Ambedkar’s legacy. He emphasized BJP’s mission to replace the BRS party with a Ram Rajyam administration that empowers the marginalized.
Sanjay specifically addressed the BCs and assured them of BJP’s dedication to their welfare. He criticized KCR for sidelining BCs in the allocation of MLA tickets and questioned the reasoning behind offering only 22 seats to BCs in a state where they make up 52% of the population. He encouraged citizens to see BJP as a party that champions BC representation in the central government.
G Kishan Reddy, the Union Minister and BJP State President, also spoke at the gathering. He stressed the need to protect Telangana from KCR’s dictatorial rule. Kishan Reddy accused both Congress and BRS of misleading the public and questioned the sincerity of KCR’s promises, such as loan waivers for farmers. He emphasized the importance of consistent solutions to agricultural challenges and comprehensive welfare policies for farmers.
Other state leaders, including AP Jitender Reddy, G Vivek Venkataswamy, Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, Karnataka MLA Chandrappa, State Representative CH Vithal, District President Bokka Narasimha Reddy, and SC Morcha State President Koppu Bhasha, were also present at the meeting.
