The State BJP Chief of Hyderabad, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, has made a claim that children of BRS ZPTC members, sarpanches and single window chairmen, their relatives, and those working for public representatives have qualified for the Group-I. According to the information received by the party, 50 candidates from a mandal and six candidates from a small village have qualified for the Group-I. Bandi has called this an “unbelievable truth” and blamed Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s son KTR for the scam. He has questioned how the SIT appointed by KTR could inquire into it and asserted that only a judicial probe could reveal the truth.

Bandi has demanded the dismissal of KTR, as he believes that the leak was done with his cooperation by a close associate, after collecting Rs 3 lakh to Rs.5 lakh from each candidate. To support his claim, Bandi cited the example of 50 candidates qualifying from a mandal in Jagtial, including children of BRS leaders, relatives, and those working for them. He also alleged that those who qualified included four sons of sarpanches, a son of a single window chairman, a bodyguard working with a ZPTC member, and a son of a Central government employee. Bandi further claimed that the leak was handed over to SIT as part of a conspiracy to divert attention, similar to film stars’ involvement in the drugs case.
