    SR University (SRU), Warangal, held an orientation program for B.Tech freshers at the Anantasagar Campus. Chancellor A Varada Reddy emphasized the importance of high-quality education in developing talents for the benefit of individuals, society, and the country. SRU is launching new programs in engineering, computer science, management, agriculture, and commerce. They will also focus on the role of parents in a child’s life and how it impacts their problem-solving skills.

    Vice-Chancellor Prof. Deepak Garg advised students to participate in various campus activities alongside academics. He mentioned that professionals from the industry will visit the campus to guide students on their career paths. He encouraged students to learn something new every day and assured them of an open house policy to address any difficulties they may face.

    Registrar and Dean Academics Dr. R Archana Reddy highlighted the importance of curriculum and its implementation in securing good placements with high pay packages. She also discussed the mentoring system and urged parents to stay connected with their children during their formative years of study. Dr. Reddy explained the benefits of pursuing honours or minor degrees and the opportunities offered by semester abroad and the International Engineering program.

    Dean Student Welfare Dr. V Mahesh discussed SR University’s collaborations with different companies and how they support students through research labs, centers of innovation, and incubation.
