The State government is working with the Telangana Medicinal Plants Board to create a medicinal plants garden called ‘Biosynmedica – The Healing Centre’ in Aziz Nagar, Rangareddy district. Health Minister C Damodar Rajanarsimha recently met with officials to discuss the project.

This garden will be a unique park of national importance, focusing on conservation, education, research, biodiversity enhancement, and cultural and spiritual purposes. It will feature 38 themed gardens with over 1,200 medicinal species, including high-density plantations and an experiential garden based on the concept of ‘sapta chakras’.
