In Nagarkurnool district, the Ayudha Puja was celebrated at the old police headquarters. This traditional event focuses on the worship of weapons and tools used by the police department.
The ceremony was led by District Superintendent of Police (SP) Gaikwad Vaibhav Raghunath. Many officers took part in the event, which included special prayers for the safety and proper use of police weapons. After the prayers, rituals were also performed to honor police vehicles at the Police Parade Ground.
SP Gaikwad shared his good wishes for peace and prosperity during the Dussehra festival. He also emphasized the cultural and spiritual importance of the celebrations. Senior officials, including Additional SPs TA Bharat, CH Rameshwar, and DSP Burri Srinivas, joined the event, showcasing the unity of the police force in maintaining traditions while serving the community.
