Gadwal: Former BJP district president S. Ramachandra Reddy from Gadwal shared his thoughts after watching the 120th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s radio program, Mann Ki Baat. The event was organized by Ayija Mandal BJP President Gopalakrishna. Reddy said the program has brought many positive changes to the country and continues to inspire people.
Reddy also wished everyone a happy Ugadi festival and appreciated Prime Minister Modi for addressing the nation in Telugu. He spoke about the Prime Minister’s focus on Jan Aushadhi Kendras, which provide affordable medicines to the public. Modi also talked about water conservation through the “Catch the Rain” initiative. He encouraged farmers to build small water bodies using the MGNREGA scheme to improve groundwater levels.
The Prime Minister also urged people to take care of their children during the summer heat and keep them away from dangerous water bodies. He asked citizens to place clay pots filled with water outside their homes to help birds and small animals during the hot season.
Reddy highlighted a proud moment from the recent Khelo India games, where differently-abled athletes won 18 medals. Out of these, 12 medals were won by women—a great achievement for the country.
He also shared a story from Gadag district in Karnataka. Farmers there faced severe water shortages for their livestock. By using good water conservation techniques, they built reservoirs, making it easier to raise cattle.
Other BJP leaders who attended the event included Laxman Goud, Telugu Narasimha, Bheemanna, Rama Anjaneyulu, and Mahesh.
